I did complete SCCBC's driver's training course, should I bring my certificate to prove that I'm not a novice? Or maybe Ivan can vouch for me :D :D :D

Whoop! I got an alignment done for my suspension upgrades (Koni Yellows, springs, sways) today.

I just gotta get some suitable brake pads, and I'm good to go!

Wow registrations are flying along! Good to see lots of familiar faces returning from our 2009 track days.

Has anybody done anything cool to their car since last year?

See you all out there,

I wasn't with you guys last year, but I did add some steeda sport springs, linear rate 205 lb/in front, 175 lb/in rear, 3 way adjustable swaybars front/rear, and Koni Yellows all around. I'm going to be running hawk DTC 70/60 front/back, with brake ducts. Tires will be a weak point, I will be running the stock 235/55/17 Pirelli all seasons.

Should be interesting with this new setup, car feels a lot more neutral, but only track time will tell.

Im new in town as of right now!

Do you guys ever get any drop outs? I'd like to compete in this track day if there is still a spot or drop out ect. If there would be anything available please let me know unless you already have a list of people inquiring the same as me :P If not, I will just sign up for the next one!

Is it James that you guys deal with at toyo?

Hi Allen,

Sorry for the slow reply, our track day director, Colin, must have missed this thread. Right now we have a fairly substantial wait list for the July 9 event, however, registration will open next week for the next track day. Keep your eyes pealed on the forum, we will also send out an email reminder through the forum when it opens.

Cheers,
Mark

On a side note. I have informed the exec guys that I will be attending but not driving.
I'll be assisting Shirley in her M5 or maybe it's a mini cooper?

From the supplemental regulations that everybody was supposed to have read:

"No driver substitutions will be allowed. In the event you are unable to attend, you should inform us immediately and we will do our best to fill your spot from our waiting list. 7 days before the track day, ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL and no substitutions or cancellations will be entertained under any circumstances."

Hi guys, my friend wishes to come and spectate. Am I allowed to bring him for a ride-along? I will ask him to bring a helmet, but before I give him the go ahead, is this cool with you guys?

Oh, I should also note, if he does come, he will be arriving later in the day. Can he still make it past the gate, or is it limited to registered drivers only?

Aside from a close encounter with a tirewall, I gotta say, I had a blast! It was good to see you fellow drivers at the track, good clean driving, and thanks to the exec team for setting this all up. Can't wait for the next trackday.
