Eat your burgers plain for the first few months, don't worry about modding them with fancy condiments, spend your money on eating out more or an eating school.

Once you have the hang of eating your plain burger then worry about condiments.

Had a great first time in the Miata on the track, impressed by the way it braked and handled but still got lots of room for improvement. will post photos and videos by friday :)

From my perspective as a volunteer, it looked liked everyone had a good time, and there were very few issues. 5 sessions (even if the last one was a bit shorter) isnt too bad either.

Thanks to Aaron for letting me take his pride and joy (miata) around for a few lunch time laps.

to car B11 (and we know who you are) I didnt appreciate having to pick up your garbage (and car number stickers) at the end of the day. Smarten up and don't do it again.

See you all at the next one!

To Ivan, and everyone who worked to make this track day happen, a big thank you!
This was my first track day after doing many autoX events. Aside from my engine trying to overheat, it was a perfect day. I especially appreciate the limited number of cars on track during the sessions. Traffic was never an issue and I felt like I could run wide open at will. I'll be saving up to try to make it to the next one, August 30th.

Hey, at least you had one full session. I got half a session before my brakes went out. I ordered race pads. Hopefully that will solve the issue for next time.

When I did novice with PDC they black flagged us in to rotate instructors, probably only works when you have 1 instructor:2/3 students but it meant that I had an instructor with me for every session who could watch my development over the course of a day.
I'm not sure whether I enjoyed the longer sessions more or the shorter ones, either way I had a blast. Definitely didn't experience any problems with traffic, overall a very smooth event :)

Thanks for all the positive comments and the feedback. As of now the trackdays are getting to where I want them: maximum seat time with a fairly uncongested raceway. My main focus will be acquiring more instructors for you guys for the next trackday. Hopefully I can get at least 4 out there. Again, thanks for all the positive feedback! I will be opening sign up for the last trackday at the end of the week. Just a reminder, the last trackday sold out and I have been getting emails about people looking to sign up already, as such I recommend you sign up early!

As well thanks to all the volunteers from UBCSCC who help me make this day happen
.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help with trackdays. Maybe your car is not ready, or your short on cash, you can still join us! We will provide lunch and reimburse you for your time as well.
