As far as I know KSport is made by the same Taiwanese company that makes D2... I've seen people use AST inserts with K-sport housing but I'm not that fancy

Hmm... that engine mount is gonna make the car interesting! (But you're gonna love how much more responsive that throttle becomes and how well the power gets laid down.)

Below is some progress. Thanks Adam (crazycanadian) for doing the installation and being very through with the setup. And special thanks to Rick and Mark for motivating me out of HS :P

Are those Coilovers I see?

If so, I think you need MOAR LOW! The trick is the center of gravity, not suspension geometry... Right?

The scary part is that is already 2.5" lower than stock!

Roof to roof it's the same as a stock Mini now (vs. a Nissan Rogue before). In the back I'm limited by my spring size and in the front I'm limited by mechanical rubbing at this point but working on resolving them... hopefully can go an inch lower in the front and 1.5 in the back.

Looking good there, Ben! Did you have a chance to have the engine mount installed yet? How do you like it?

I'm okay with the vibration but I guess everyone is different. With a stock exhaust the noise isn't too bad but it could add up if you have a noisier engine / exhaust. I have the 88a and the other options were 70a and 95a... in terms of performance, it would be hard for me to quantify.

Have seen nothing but good reviews for this product:

Will take more pics once I install it... Need to get a M6 to SAE terminal converter but haven't found it locally and don't want to wait for shipping... any ideas who sells them? Next need to find a mount for the little thing.

Nice! Those ballistic batteries are a good product. We use the smallest one they make on the UBC supermileage car and its been very strong for 2 years running now.

Id look into making an adapter, nothing you cant get from a local electronics store like Lees electronics in Vancouver. We've looked into the ones that they sell and they are something like $60 for the adapter, just stupid

Temp solution in place, finally have room for the supercharger:

Permanent solution on the way... I like to keep it clean and easy to swap for the winter:

Getting much closer to the 2100lb goal.
