Toyota Starlet Drift Machine and Other Awesome Builds

Postby stelios » Wed May 07, 2014 9:41 pm

My uncles in Greece built this thing a few years ago, and god damn I wish I could have one. Roughly the size of a Civic, but RWD. Europe gets all the cool cars. It pushes around 400bhp

damn that thing looks like a blast. Pretty cool sight to see a hatch drifting uphill :)

Your uncles have any other projects to share?

One of them just finished his personal car, an old Opel Kadett. I'll see if I can grab some pictures from him. Nowhere near as extreme as the starlet but still a nice build.

I found more pictures of the Starlet, as well as some pictures of my uncle's Opel Kadett. The orange one is also a Kadett but it was built as a fun weekend racer. It's a shame I can't convince them to come over here to build cars...ahh well. Enjoy!

She started out rough and dirty, and you can see the orange one hiding in the background as well. Man...having a lift and a giant workshop would be awesome...

They stripped the shell and put it on a rotisserie for easier welding. They had bought a third Kadett as a donor car to replace some body panels that were rusty etc.

Another car they built, Peugot something or other.

That's awesome, I love those Starlets! We did get them here, but it's a challenge to find one.
