Help with classification - 2001 m3

Postby Blackice » Fri Nov 09, 2012 9:44 pm

Hey guys, I have a 2001 E46 M3 and would like to hear what class/classes that this car might fit in to. I have read thru the various "what class" and how to determine which class and the more I read the more confused I become. The last slush event I put my self in STU, but now I am not sure if the car even fits this class. So I would love to hear from others with their thoughts on which class they think I should be enter.

The car has the following changes from stock
ECU remapping. The ECU has been re-mapped with the Shark upgrade from Turner
Ride height has been changed - The springs have been changed to HR Sports springs, this lowers the car by a bit over an inch.
The rims are the same size as offered in stock form but the off set of the rear rims does not match stock.

No other changes from stock
If you hit a cone don't let it throw your concentration, remember, you ran it's punk a$$ over

You had it right the first time -- your E46 M3 is in STU. ECU re-maps, suspension changes, and wheel/tire changes are all STU-legal modifications (unless you are running tires wider than 285 or have UTQG rating lower than 140).
