Thanks for the cool avatar pic roastpuff!

No problem - I sort of ran out space towards the end, and started taking less pictures haha.

I needed a longer lens too!

Turn in earlier and try and link the corners more. This will allow you to be smoother and carry more speed through the corner. You will likely need to look farther ahead to do this but I can't tell were you are looking when from the video.

Thanks for the comment but what exactly do you mean by linking the corners?

Also I took the L box at 45 degree as suggested by Louis but my car was very resistant to unwind after... comparing it to the people I watched, my car takes double the time to unwind with me forcing it... maybe a sharper angle at the cone (later apex) would help?

Here's the video I took. I edited two of my runs together to get the picture-in-picture so the timing between the car and steering will be off slightly.

canadianjoker: Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing.

elkayem: Your pics are also fantastic. I really like the ones with the car reflecting on the water. Any chance you can unlock them for download? I'd love to get copies of my car.

bentiac: I second the comment about turning in earlier and getting tighter on the cones, especially with your car. This comes with practice. I would be happy to help at the next event. As for the L box, I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I thought I said approx. 30% at the apex. In any event, there are other issues to consider when comparing your performance to others, one of which is equipment. Your car will handle very differently from my car just as my car handles very differently from say the Mini. We have to make adjustments to compensate. Also, IIRC you have zero or minimal camber, severely limiting your car's grip level. I have stock suspension and the most I was able to dial out was -1.2F and .8R. Still pretty low which forces me to be extra smooth (turn in early with smooth transitions from gas to brake) as I can't rely on the car to bite down as hard as I would want it to. That said, the fun part about Auto-X is to learn control of whatever car you bring out. My car is an underpowered pig but I do the best with what I have. Like I said before, I'd be happy to help you work on your line at the next event.

Hmmm, shareview.us is having some technical difficulties I guess.

I've uploaded the same video to Vimeo now.
