Dyno Tuning Miata

edited July 2011 in Pictures and Videos

Made a dismal 233whp on Racing Greed's heart breaker. It would equate to +- 300whp on a dynojet/dynapack. When I get some extra coin I will do some pulls on other dynos to compare to my last set up. This is with a new intake manifold, and 15PSI vs. my stock intake manifold and 14PSI which made 223whp on a dynapack.

Use the dynapack at Brown Bros Ford. Wayne is a good tuner there... I have been using them exclusively for the past 3 years and am always happy with the time spent there.

I had the car tuned last time at Blitzkrieg. So I am going to try to do a pull on their dyno so I can compare to the last tune apples to apples. Thanks for the suggestion though.

^^good plan. Stick to the same dyno always if you can. Dynos vary too much from dyno to dyno. Using the same one will at least eliminate that error and let you see what your changes are actually doing.
