Some beautiful pictures in there, guys! Well done, as usual.

    Here's Joseph's Run 7:

Here's my fastest clean run, Run 7:

I made a big mistake into the crossover, got mad, and pushed too hard the rest of the run :P

Here's what could have been the FTD, if not for a cone. Run 4:

Oh well.. Maybe next time. Still a fun day of autocross, though

This is one of those times when the saying "You want to eat your cookie and keep your helmet on too" is appropriate.

However hard the act of getting to bite the cookie is, an even more difficult obstacle is to chew the cookie with the helmet on.

It's impossible to enjoy a cookie with the helmet on - true story.

Here are a couple videos showing the difference between an ST car and an STU car on a faster course..

Good job on the comparo videos. Thanks again for putting them together!

Did you get a bad launch in the first video? Regardless, there was no getting away from the STi. Also, it doesn't seem like you have problems with the gearing and rev limiter on this particular course.

No problem. I find em very useful, too.

Well, we don't usually launch the STI - it's pretty hard on the clutch. If there's a longer initial acceleration zone I might launch for one or two runs.. but mostly we just pull off the line. That first vid was just a particularly leisurely get-away, lol.

It's hard to hear because of the wind noise, but I'm actually on the limiter quite a bit. It was full throttle, bouncing off it from around the first 8 cone box, through the second one, and down to the braking for the end sweeper. On a good run, it would just touch the limiter again through the "chute" the first time around, and again just before the finish line. I have the feeling the km/h on the limiter is a bit higher for the STI than for your car, though..

Anyway, I'm getting closer to catching you on PAX. If I didn't cone that run I could have had it.. but oh well, maybe next time ;)

    Nice driving!
