I took some photos at the track day yesterday and thought I would post them for everyone to see I didnt get to move around too much as I was working the course as well but I tried to change it up a bit. If you took some photos or videos as well then post them up here!

Here is my stock 200,000km focus with crappy tires and a set of springs :)
Can anyone tell me how to get out of 6 quicker? I lose about 4 cars on everything there

you need to be on the gas harder coming out of 5. i see you are only half throttle until you clear turn 6. In my focus I hit redline and shift into third as i clip the curb on the inside of turn 6. unless your tires really were that slippery, you should have more than enough grip at that speed in turn 6 to go through it flat out.

here are my laps from 2011. car mods are in the description.

I second what Norm is saying here. You are also scrubbing a lot of speed by turning so tight to the inside of 5. To set myself up for 6 I will always position myself mid track coming out of 5. (A larger radius here is going to scrub off less speed) I will then apex pretty late on 6 usually whilst shifting at the same time. Its kind of hairy letting go of the wheel to shift but its worth at least .5-1s I would guess.

Ian I noticed your other video has you tailing the Yaris I was driving, watch the line I take through 5-6, its worked well for me in all fwd's I've taken to Mission.

Yes my tires really were that slippery :)
they are just my street tires that I paid $500 for the set and I hated them almost immediately.

However I will give that a shot for next time. Thanks for the feedback. It all helps, when you don't have horsepower to help correct your mistakes then everyone is a big one :)

I noticed that you had a much different line through 3 too, I'll have to try that one also

No problem! Yeah I tend to take turn 3 about 5-6 feet off the apex as I was finding closer to the apex the bump in the road is far more aggressive. In my race car with 500"LB springs, this bump is a lot more unsettling and causes the car to lose stability, and therefore traction, so I take it a bit wide. Haven't compared lap times doing it one way or the other but it does feel better in the vain of 'seat of the pants'.
