edited October 2016 in Non-UBC Racing Events
Hello All;

In our on going efforts to encourage greater participation at Time Attack events we going to try something new.
In order to test the format and get accurate feedback we would as many competitors as possible. If the feedback
is favourable this could be the way we go in 2017.

On October 8 we are going to run an “Introductory” Time Attack No-Passing event at Mission Raceway. This will be part of the
regular CACC race weekend. The event will NOT count toward the 2016 Time Attack Championship. The format will be similar to
the evening event we held August 6. However there will be some changes.

Entry fee is only $75.00 (includes transponder for those that do not have one)
This will be a Transponder event, Transponders will be supplied but may have to be rotated between competitors
Time Attack no-passing
The practice session (20 minutes) will be during the afternoon NOT at the end of the day,
Passing on the front straight only
The timed sessions will be at the end of the day (at the conclusion of racing),
Timed sessions will consist of 1 out lap, 3 timed laps, 1cool down lap.
Competitors should get two timed sessions
NO Passing during the timed sessions
Relaxed licensing requirements
Safety requirements are the same as Autoslalom and/or Lapping
Full listing of the supplemental regulations are on the SCCBC web site
